TimerDivide

Enum TimerDivide

Source
#[repr(u64)]
pub enum TimerDivide { Div2 = 0, Div4 = 1, Div8 = 2, Div16 = 3, Div32 = 4, Div64 = 5, Div128 = 6, Div1 = 7, }
Expand description

Timer divide configuration values (IA32_X2APIC_TIMER_DIV, MSR 0x83E).

The timer frequency is the bus clock (or core crystal clock) divided by the value encoded here. After reset the register is 0 (= divide by 2).

Variants§

§

Div2 = 0

Divide by 2 (reset default).

§

Div4 = 1

Divide by 4.

§

Div8 = 2

Divide by 8.

§

Div16 = 3

Divide by 16.

§

Div32 = 4

Divide by 32.

§

Div64 = 5

Divide by 64.

§

Div128 = 6

Divide by 128.

§

Div1 = 7

Divide by 1.
