TypedLockFreeRing

Struct TypedLockFreeRing

Source
pub struct TypedLockFreeRing<Role> {
    inner: Arc<LockFreeRing>,
    _role: PhantomData<Role>,
}
Expand description

SPSC ring with compile-time role enforcement.

TypedLockFreeRing<Producer> has both write() and read(). TypedLockFreeRing<Consumer> has only read(). The compiler rejects any misuse at compile time.

Fields§

§inner: Arc<LockFreeRing>§_role: PhantomData<Role>

Implementations§

Source§

impl TypedLockFreeRing<Producer>

Source

pub fn write(&self, data: &[u8]) -> Result<(), RingError>

Write into the ring (producer only).

Source§

impl<T> TypedLockFreeRing<T>

Source

pub fn read(&self, buf: &mut [u8]) -> Result<usize, RingError>

Read from the ring (both roles).
